Carolyn’s prints explore colour and form through the abstraction of natural and everyday objects. Influences in both composition and colour derive from early twentieth century avant-garde art movements.
Images are created by drawing directly into the computer, by scanning drawings or objects, which are then manipulated within the computer. The multiple layers created allow colour and image to be blended within a final print.
Carolyn is is a member of The Gloucestershire Printmaking Co-operative.
A recent body of work includes large-scale drawings and paintings, achieved by multiple techniques.
